StarLore Readings (“StarLore”, “we”, “our”) creates written tarot, astrology and numerology readings delivered digitally, usually as a PDF by email.

Information we collect
After checkout or when you email us, you may share your name, email address, birth date, birth time if known, birthplace, focus area and any context you feel comfortable sharing.
We also keep messages and support requests so we can reply, follow up, and keep track of what was agreed or delivered.

Order and payment confirmation
Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation that you purchased a package and basic order details like your name and email address.
StarLore does not receive or store your full card number or security code.

How we use your information
We use your information to prepare and deliver your paid reading, reply to your questions, provide support, keep basic business records and improve the service in practical ways.
We do not run a general marketing newsletter right now. If we start one later, you will have a clear way to opt out.

Legal bases for EU/UK visitors
If you are in the European Union or United Kingdom, we may process personal data under contract, legitimate interests and consent.
- Contract: to deliver the reading you purchased.
- Legitimate interests: to respond to messages, keep records and run the service safely.

StarLore is operated from Sri Lanka and uses online service providers that may store or process data in other countries.
By using the website or purchasing a reading, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed outside your country, where data protection laws may differ.

How long we keep your data
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here.
- Reading notes and PDFs may be kept so you can refer back later.
- Order and payment records may be kept longer for accounting, tax or legal reasons.

Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain types of personal data processing.
To request this, email starlorereadings@gmail.com. We may ask for basic proof of identity so we do not change the wrong person’s data.

Children’s privacy
StarLore is primarily for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16, or the minimum age required in your country.
If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please email us and we will review and remove it where appropriate.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, such as using strong passwords and limiting access to accounts and files.
However, no method of online transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
